Ayam Pongteh

Shallots & cloves garlic
Oil, Tau Cheo (fermented bean sauce), dark soy sauce, soy sauce, Gula Melaka ( palm sugar)
Chicken, potato and mushroom 3 cups water
Salt to taste

Fry the shallots and Garlic till fragrance is out / light brown in color ( or also known as pecah minyak) - Instead of chopping it, I choose to blend it instead. It tastes more authentic.

Cooking time - 40 mins / till the chicken and potato is tender
