Ayam Pongteh






Shallots & cloves garlic
Oil, Tau Cheo (fermented bean sauce), dark soy sauce, soy sauce, Gula Melaka ( palm sugar)
Chicken, potato and mushroom 3 cups water
Salt to taste


Fry the shallots and Garlic till fragrance is out / light brown in color ( or also known as pecah minyak) - Instead of chopping it, I choose to blend it instead. It tastes more authentic.

Cooking time - 40 mins / till the chicken and potato is tender

Hokkien Char





Ingredients
Yellow Noodle, Sawi, some desired seafood.
Worth to mention here, shrimps stocks is one of the major ingredients as it makes the gravvy sweeter and fresher

Kerabu Pucuk Paku


Preparation Time - 15 mins
Main Ingredients - Shallots, lime juice, lemon grass, unions, Bunga Kantan, dried shrimps and sambal belacan & Pucuk Paku

Turmeric Chicken


Cooking Time - 25 mins
Main Ingredients - Turmeric, shallots, black pepper, Chicken and salt.

Tau Eu Bak


Nyonya food - Pork stewed in soy sauce.
Cooking Time - 30 mins
Main Ingredients - Cinnamon Sticks, Pepper, Garlics, Bunga Cengkih (Clove), Soy sauce, sugar, salt and of course Pork and Eggs.

Sambal

Cooking Time - 20 mins
Ingredients - sugar, shrimp paste, dried chilies, shallots, unions some garlic

Nasi Lemak

Cooking Time - 20 mins
Besides the indicated ingredients, may add on some salts as well
